Conor McGregor Granted Continuance For NSAC Hearing

This Monday (12/10), both McGregor and Nurmagomedov were expected to received their punishments from the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) for the brawl. However, one of those fighters will not be getting said punishment because a report from MMA Fighting is stating that McGregor has been granted a continuance from the NSAC.

It is unknown why a continuance was granted to McGregor or when the fighter will now have his day in front of the NSAC. Nurmagomedov is still expected to get his punishment this Monday, although the report states that Nurmagomedov may not be in attendance at the NSAC meeting. The same report also states that Nurmagomedov may also get a continuance, but nothing has been announced at this time.

Neither Nurmagomedov or McGregor are expected to fight again until their case has been heard by the NSAC and the punishments have been handed out and then served. NSAC Executive Director Bob Bennett says the agenda for this Monday’s meeting should be posted online by tonight at the latest.
