Henry Cejudo Wants The UFC To Tell Him The Plans For The Flyweight Division

UFC Flyweight Champion Henry Cejudo is coming off of a first round TKO victory over UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw at UFC Fight Night Brooklyn.

The champion hoped to have saved the weight class with that win, but wants to know what the UFC’;s plans are going forward.

“I’m getting no answer from (White) either,” Cejudo said at a UFC 234 media session (via MMA Junkie). “There’s a pink elephant in the room. It’s like, ‘Hey, I’m the champ.’ I should be told something at least, out of a little bit out of respect. It’s still unsure.”

Cejudo also claimed during the media session that the UFC had cut John Moraga from the roster.

One thing the UFC does want, according to Cejudo, is a second fight between himself and Dillashaw.

“One thing they do want, they do want that T.J. fight,” Cejudo said. “Dana wants it, T.J. wants it, we want it. That’s kind of where everything is heading as of now. Possibly (at bantamweight). I would like it. I know I could beat the man again at 135 pounds. I know what I saw in those 32 seconds. I see a lot of opportunities for me.”

There has been no comments yet from the UFC on the future of the men’s flyweight division or the job status of Moraga.
