Dana White wants nothing more than to hold UFC event on the aniversery date of the UFC in November inside Madison Square Garden.
But in the past few days the idea that MMA becomes a legal sport in New York appears to have hit another roadblock. Now, White just plans on letting things fall into place.
“We’re either going to get sanctioned here or not,” White said last week. “We’ll only do it if the government (sanctions it). We’re still working on it.”
White added that more votes approved in the senate, but “it’s just to the point now where it’s absolutely ridiculous and I’m over it.”
I very much agree with Dana and who wouldn’t, MMA is legal in most of the 50 states and internationally all over the world. Why is this one state just so hard to turn over and just let it happen. The benifits that it would bring to the state have to be much higher than the con’s. What do you think? Tweet me @kelleygirlmma
