The UFC’s second quarter of 2018 is taking form.
As announced during Saturday’s broadcast of UFC Fight Night 125, the promotion is headed to Rio de Janeiro’s Jeunesse Arena on May 12 for UFC 224 and Chicago’s United Center on June 9 for UFC 225.
No bouts have been attached to either card as of yet.
The UFC last visited the Brazilian metropolis this past June for UFC 212, where Max Holloway unified the featherweight crown with a third-round TKO of Jose Aldo in the main event.
UFC 225 will mark the outfit’s first pay-per-view event in the Windy City. Chicago most recently hosted UFC on FOX 20 in the summer of 2016, with Valentina Shevchenko outdueling Holly Holm for a unanimous decision victory in the women’s bantamweight headliner.
Also announced for the spring was a return to upstate New York on June 1 when the promotion takes to Utica’s Adirondack Bank Center.
